First Mistake

Well, as it turned out, I missed a few glitches :/ so I went back and found them, and here they are.

So here's one I didn't have to research. I stumbled upon this one while playing Ooga Jump. If you continually press the storm button on the toolbar, you fall further than you are supposed to. In fact, if you keep pressing it, you will never hit the ground.

This one's annoying. Wait until the last possible second to let the waiting pygmy into the outhouse, and the sound he makes while waiting will continue. It stops once he leaves the toilet though. You can hear it better if you have earphones in.

An extension I found to the magnifying glass glitch is that the same thing happens with the fishing rod, the meteor, and the egg.

Another extension is that the Dodo bird isn't affected by gravity either.

ANOTHER extension is on the volcano island switch glitch, try flicking the last pygmy, and switching islands before he falls into the volcano.
This one's easy. Rapidly click the on/off button for the firewood, and after a few seconds, stop and turn the firewood on, and they won't fall. Drag a pygmy up and you will see the wood hovering above the island.

Ok! This one's cool! If you press the statue 3 times, it does the "You know you like Pocket God" thing. Right before the people blow up though, start up a tornado just enough to make them get windblown. If you do it at just the right time , they will turn invincible. There's only one in this picture, but he's the one by the tree.

Just when I think I'm done. I found one that's really cool. Make sure there are no pygmies, then stack all the wood pieces on the fire pit. Hit the bird with lightning and place him in the pit. Add a pygmy and place him on top the pile. Watch and he builds the fire and eats another pygmy and chokes.

Ok. I think I'm done now. Until next update.

First Post

Ok, so for one, I'm a huge fan of the Pocket God game for the iTouch, and if you don't know what it's all about, then let's get you up to speed. In this game, you get to control the goings on on an island in the middle of the ocean. You can do everything from controling the weather to changing gravity. Also, one of my favorite features is the acheivements system. Over 30 achievements to unlock, and more to come. There are 4 levels of acheivement: Minion, Shaman, Demi-God, and God, with Minion being the easiest to achieve, and God the hardest. But what is a game without glitches? Well, it's still a game, but not as fun. Glitches in a game are fun to find, as well as trigger, so for extra enjoyment check back here, where I'll post any glitches I can come across. Be sure to let me know if you have a glitch I haven't featured yet. Well let's get started.

The first glitch I have come across is a simple one. Pull the shark out of the water and flip the iPhone/iTouch over. The shark remains unaffected by gravity. Even if you drop him.

Another one that has been around for a while is the daylight lightning strike. If you hold the lightning in the air and close the storm, you can still generate lightning from a blue sky. You can do the same with the hurricane. Try switching islands as well.

The next glitch is one of my favorites for this update, because I warned Dave and Alan about it, but they still missed the fix. Turn on the anthill and grab a pygmy. Flip the iPhone/iTouch upside down and drag the pigmy towards the bottom of the screen. You will see the magnifying glass endlessly spawning above the Ooga Jump clouds.

I haven't quite figured out how to trigger it, but if you throw the shark up into the air and let him fall into the water, if you time it right, you can respawn the shark in the air. It looks like you pull him out of the water behind the island.

The volcano island switch glitch is still around. For those of you that don't know what that is, trigger the volcano eruption and switch islands.

That's all I've got for now. For the official Pocket God blog, click here.
